Yellow Leaf on Red Brick

The streets of Salem, Massachusetts are paved with... all kinds of things, actually. From modern asphalt and concrete, to old cobblestone, and everything in between - which is where these red brick pavers on Essex Street came to be. Fall had just started so one of my repeated subjects (leaves on the ground) was not hard to find. Except the wind doesn't leave them alone for long.
