Chosen for PhotoPlace Gallery Online Exhibition!
I’m a few days behind on this one. My wife and I were at a fun non-photo-related event in Memphis, TN when I found out about this.
A few weeks ago I decided to submit 5 of my photographs to a call for entry at PhotoPlace Gallery. I will freely admit I did not expect anything to come of it. But why not try, right?
Well, the juror Paula Tognarelli apparently disagreed with my rather bleak self-assessment, and my photograph “Deck Icicles” was one of 40 selected for the online gallery. Another 35 were selected for an actual gallery exhibition in Middlebury, Vermont. All will be in the printed catalog when it’s ready.
The chosen images can be seen at PhotoPlace Gallery - FROZEN: Cold, Quiet, Pure. Mine is under the “Online Gallery” section, but do check out the other work; it’s really rather good. I’m truly honored to be included among it.
