When I was putting together the previous design for this site, I wanted specific photos for some of the error messages, with “404 not found” being the most likely to be seen.

It’s a simple composite of two shots with an adjustment layer for the color. This is a rare occasion where direct, on-axis flash was appropriate; I’m being lit by the monitor, after all, and beautiful, soft, off-axis light wouldn’t look right here.
